This paper presents an integrated Management Information Systems framework for business operations monitoring across finance, operations, workforce management, internal controls, and event-based data sources. The study addresses a persistent limitation in organizational monitoring: many firms still review operational conditions through separate dashboards and disconnected reports, which makes interpretation difficult when related disruptions appear across several functions. To address this problem, the paper develops an event-centered monitoring model that connects records from multiple domains within a single analytical structure. The methodology follows a sequential mixed-method design that includes framework development, common event schema construction, domain indicator design, anomaly assessment, and case-based evaluation. The results show that the proposed framework provides a broader and more coherent view of organizational activity than conventional function-specific reporting systems. It improves cross-functional visibility, supports clearer identification of recurring operational patterns, and offers stronger support for managerial interpretation and response prioritization. Comparative analysis also shows better performance in diagnostic clarity, contextual review, and issue interpretation. The study contributes to MIS research by treating business operations monitoring as an enterprise-wide analytical problem rather than a set of isolated reporting tasks. It also offers a practical monitoring structure for organizations that require connected review of interdependent processes, distributed records, and operational disruptions across multiple business functions.
